La Universidad de Atacama, a través de su Vicerrectoría de Investigación y Postgrado, convoca a concurso público de antecedentes para la contratación, en el Cuerpo Académico No Regular en calidad de investigador, de once (11) investigadores, a jornada completa (equivalente a cuarenta y cuatro (44) horas semanales), que posean una clara orientación a la investigación científica y docencia de postgrado en las siguientes áreas prioritarias:
Facultad de Ingeniería:
DEPARTAMENTO DE METALURGIA. Perfil de investigación en Pirometalurgia.
DEPARTAMENTO DE INFORMÁTICA Y CIENCIA DE LA COMPUTACIÓN. Perfil de investigación en Ingeniería Informática, Bioinformática o equivalente.
DEPARTAMENTO DE MATEMÁTICAS. Perfil de investigación en Estadística.
Facultad de Educación y Humanidades:
DEPARTAMENTO DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA. Perfil de investigación en Currículum y Evaluación.
DEPARTAMENTO DE PSICOLOGÍA. Perfil de investigación en el Área Social y de las Organizaciones.
Facultad de Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales:
DEPARTAMENTO DE CIENCIAS JURÍDICAS. Perfil de investigación en Derecho del Medio Ambiente y/o Recursos Naturales, incluyendo Recursos Hidricos, Energía y Minería.
DEPARTAMENTO DE TRABAJO SOCIAL. Perfil de investigación en Trabajo Social.
Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud:
DEPARTAMENTO DE KINESIOLOGÍA. Perfil de investigación en Kinesiología, Rehabilitación y Control Neural del Movimiento.
DEPARTAMENTO DE OBSTETRICIA Y PUERICULTURA. Perfil de investigación en Evaluación, determinantes y alfabetización en salud sexual y reproductiva.
Gestión del cuidado de la salud de la mujer y el recién nacido.
DEPARTAMENTO DE ENFERMERÍA. Perfil de investigación en Gestión del cuidado y Adulto mayor.
DEPARTAMENTO DE NUTRICIÓN Y DIETÉTICA. Perfil de investigación en Nutrición Humana, Alimentación Institucional y Nutrición Clínica Humana.
Requisitos mínimos:
1. Estar en posesión del grado académico de Doctor en el área;
2. Poseer al menos tres artículos aceptados para publicación en revistas de la categoría “corriente principal” del Web of Science (ex ISI) en los últimos tres años o acreditar participación como investigador principal en proyectos de investigación con financiamiento público o privado.

The University of Atacama, through the Vicerrectoría de Investigación y Postgrado, calls for recruitment of 11 researchers in various scientific fields. The succesfull applicants will be hired as full time researcher (44 hours per week), and their duties will be scientific research and teaching for master and PhD courses.

1 researcher in Computer Engineering, Bioinformatics (Department of informatics and computational science)
1 researcher in Statistics (Department of Mathematics)
Faculy of Pedagogy and Human Sciences:
1 researcher in Curriculum and evaluation (Department of Pedagody)
1 researcher in Social and Organizational Areas (Department of Psicology)
Faculty of Law and Social Sciences:
1 researcher in Environmental legislation and/or natural resources legislation (Department of Law).
1 researcher in Social Work (Department of Social Work)
Faculty of Health Sciences:
1 researcher in Kinesiology, Rehabilitation and Neural Control of Movement (Department of Kinesiology)
1 researcher in Pedagogy in reproductive health, management of health care of recent moms and their childs (Department of Obstetrics and Childcare)
1 researcher in Senior Care Management (Department of Nursing)
1 researcher in Nutrition, Institutional Feeding and Clinical Feeding (Department of Nutrition and Dietetics)
Application Requirements:
- Being in possession of a PhD degree in the relevant area or related sciences
- At least 3 publications in peer-reviewed journals of Web of Science (WoS) in the last 3 years, or be Principal Investigator of grants provided by public or private funding.
